Delivery to Non-EU countries: Shipping costs do not include any duties, taxes, or clearing charges levied by the destination country.
These charges are the responsibility of the customer and will vary from country to country. We cannot predetermine what the charges will be. Customs duties usually amount to the local sales tax or value-added tax. You can get an estimate of the expected customs duties here. The required HS codes (i.e. customs tariff codes) can be found on each product page under “Additional information”. Tip: Save shipping time, shipping costs, and customs duties by ordering from our worldwide resellers.
The charges may be billed directly to the customer by the destination’s customs authority. We suggest that you call your local customs office if you would like more information on customs duties in your country.
You have an obligation to support the customs clearance. If goods need to be returned to us for lack of support, you will be responsible for any additional costs incurred.
EU countries
If you have a VAT ID and the delivery is to go to other EU countries, we deliver at net prices. Please check the validity of your VAT ID >.
If your VAT ID is valid, you can set currency and prices net >
It is essential that you enter your VAT ID in the corresponding input field before placing your order and paying. Unfortunately, we have to reject a subsequent tax exemption because of the effort involved.
We are obliged to check your VAT ID for validity when you enter it. Therefore, please ensure that you enter completely and correctly without spaces!
We would like to point out that the VAT liability is transferred to you, and you have to declare and pay any tax that is applicable in accordance with your local tax law (reverse-charge procedure).
United Kingdom
We only deliver to the United Kingdom for orders over €175.00. Alternatively, you can order from one of our resellers in the UK or via eBay. Orders shipped from us (in Germany) will be taxed and paid for on delivery or by notification (letter or email). Some carriers impose an additional payment fee. So have cash ready when the delivery agent rings. Or check your letterbox for any notification from the customs authority.
For orders over 1000.00 €, the delivery time is extended by 2-3 days, as we have to register the delivery with German customs for export and wait for their approval.
Switzerland and Liechtenstein
We also deliver to Switzerland and Liechtenstein at net prices, i.e., German VAT does not apply. Set currency and prices net >
However, the Swiss import and sales tax is due on importation into Switzerland – which makes our goods a bit cheaper to shipping addresses based in Switzerland. The shipping service selected by you will take care of the import declaration. The payment of the Swiss import tax and VAT is is due upon delivery at your site – and usually in cash.
For orders over 1000.00 €, the delivery time is extended by 2-3 days, as we have to register the delivery with German customs for export and wait for their approval.
If you order from Switzerland, but the goods are delivered to an address in German customs territory, we will have to charge the German VAT. If you then want to import the goods into Switzerland, you may recover the German VAT from German Customs upon presentation of our invoice. In return, you would need to declare the goods at Swiss customs and pay the Swiss VAT and import tax.
On request we also deliver to service providers that operate collection points or parcel boxes close to the border and help you with importation.
United States and Canada
For shipments to the United States, a customs duty of 15% is applied. The customs fee must be paid either in cash upon delivery or by request via email.
Unless specifically exempted, in Canada you must pay 5% GST if the value of goods exceeds 800.00 CAN$.
For orders over 1000.00 €, the delivery time is extended by 2-3 days, as we have to register the delivery with German customs for export and wait for their approval.
Rest of the world

Please note that customs duties may apply, which normally have to be paid at the delivery address in cash, or you get a notification from the customs authority. For higher amounts, you can be asked to appear at a customs office. Make sure you take our invoice with you as proof.

Shop & Ship
If the goods are shipped to a non-EU country via a forwarding service such as Shop & Ship, commercial customers have the option of obtaining a VAT refund through the input tax refund procedure at the German Federal Central Tax Office.
However, certain requirements must be met, and each customer must submit the application themselves. The deadline for submitting an application is June 30 of the year following the invoice’s issue. Further information here. Unfortunately, we cannot offer any assistance on this matter.
Please consider whether the effort is worthwhile and whether forwarding your shipment still makes sense in the future. Direct delivery may be more expensive in terms of shipping costs, but it’s net without any major bureaucracy, meaning it’s automatically tax-exempt in every case.
