In the most counties DHL shipments are handed over to national post, which then executes the delivery for DHL. Unfortunately there are often delays. If you want fast, reliable delivery, please select UPS.
Depending on the capacity of the customs authorities, customs clearance in the destination country may lead to delays of up to 7 working days. It is normal that the shipment tracking pauses. In the meanwhile please refrain from inquiring about the delivery status.
Increased shipment volume, e.g. on “Black Friday” or Christmas, can significantly increase delivery times. Tracking at DHL is then often only sporadic and incomplete, which is why precise shipment tracking is no longer possible. To make matters worse, there are additional delays in customs clearance. We therefore always recommend UPS for time-critical orders!
Liability in the event of damage or loss
For private consumers, we bear the full shipping risk.
For consultants, schools and businesses, we deliver freely agreed freight carriers (Incoterm FCA), i.e. when the goods are handed over to the shipping service provider selected by you, the risk of (thank God rare in practice) damage or complete loss is transferred to you. However, with the exception of letter post, insurance is included in all of the forms of shipping we offer.
Please check the delivery for intactness and notify us immediately of any damage or missing items. Photos are usually very helpful for clarification.
