We do not participate in any VAT refund procedures for goods personally taken across the border. We are already so burdened with red tape that we simply do not have the time for it. And if we were to do it, we would have to charge a service fee that would offset the benefit of the tax refund.

Question: Why hasn’t the Coca-Cola recipe been published yet? ;-) The exact CMYK or HEX values are part of our expertise and are therefore confidential.

However, you can get approximate values by, for example, downloading our color charts as PDFs and measuring them on screen using appropriate color value determination apps.

Some fabric color swatches are missing the usual plastic case?2024-10-16T11:58:24+02:00

The manufacturer of our fabric color passes no longer offers the usual case. All new editions only come in a simple plastic bag.

However, we have managed to obtain and store a final batch of the cases, which can be ordered separately while stocks last.

In the product description of the affected fabric color passes or color types, you will find this note: “The fabric color swatch is delivered folded twice in a plastic bag. The previously delivered plastic case in the format 4.3 x 4.3 in (11 x 11 cm) must be ordered separately.”

For every payment by credit card, we as the retailer grant a credit, i.e. we bear the risk of non-payment. We are only willing to do this up to a limit of €2,000.

Alternatively, you can make very comfortably a bank transfer via Wise to one of our worldwide bank accounts without any limit, or you can split the order.

We deliver to some countries with UPS only because DHL respectively local parcel services have not proven to be reliable enough.

If the order value exceeds €1500, we offer UPS only in any case. You get the DHL option if you split the order.

There are more than 5,000 industrial manufactured colors in the world, that means there are more compatible colors than any color pass could ever contain. To show this, and that you don’t stick slavishly to the main colors, we added two lighter shades.

We do not operate a sophisticated affiliate program. But we offer compensation for recommending our products. And it goes like this:

  1. Register and select an account as a business customer.
  2. Write us a message saying that you would like to recommend our products.
  3. We will provide you with a unique coupon code that you can share with your customers. It entitles them to a discount of 5%, which serves as an incentive to enter the coupon code as affiliate identifier.
  4. We collect all orders where your coupon code was used and pay at the end of a year a sales commission of 20% (10% from 2025).

If the delivery was made to an EU country, this is not a big problem.

In cases of delivery to a non-EU country, return customs clearance is due. All duties and administration fees will be charged to the buyer. In most cases, this can mean that the costs for the return and customs clearance exceed the value of the goods. So it can be cheaper to resell the products on eBay, for example.

In most cases this is unfortunately not possible. The documents required for customs clearance are generated automatically for each order and must match the contents of the shipment. The uncomplicated way is that you or we cancel your order, and you create a new one.

It means the original country postal service has accepted packet and the information has been electronically send to destination courier such as USPS. The “Origin Post is Preparing Shipment” will display until the packet passes into/through ISC/Customs and is scanned by USPS. So “Origin Post is Preparing Shipment” can also happen after a package has reached a destination country.

This is common for orders which exceeds the total amount of 1000.00 € to a shipping address outside of the European Union. In such cases the German customs authority requests an export declaration from the seller. Filing and approving takes a couple of days why the status remains unchanged “processing”.

In the most countries the shipment will be handed over to national post, which then executes the delivery for DHL. Unfortunately there are often delays. If you want fast, reliable delivery, please select UPS.

For legal reasons prices are displayed and calculated net only on the cart page after you have entered your VAT id or a non-EU shipping address.

When the tracking stops, in the majority of cases the shipment has arrived at the customs of the delivery country. The customs clearance can take up to 10 workdays! We cannot do anything about it and we are not responsable for it. Please be patient for a little while.

If you work with a differentiated color system you need additional drapes for mixed types. Therefor we offer 8 sets. Ultimately you are able to work with a 12-type color system. But you don´t need to take all 8, choose the ones you need.

First the invoice is attached once to our e-mail with the order confirmation and second to our order completion e-mail as a PDF file.

If you have not ordered as a guest but via your customer account, you will find all invoices archived there for download. Incidentally, you will find in the customer account “order” > “payment” all payment options to choose from.

Please contact us before sending your first order. After clarifying your needs, we can usually dispense with the advance payment which is difficult for public clients. We will deliver to schools abroad without prepayment if a member of the school board lodges a private deposit for 50% of the order value, which will be refunded after full payment of the invoice for the order.

If you have ordered as a private customer, you can exercise the contractual right for free return according to the German “Widerrufsrecht” (right of free return).

If you have ordered as a business customer, our acceptance of return is a voluntary service without any legal obligation.

No. According to the flow-system of Munsell, one type flows into the other. A better name would be intermediate type. Of course, there are a couple of overlaps in color from one type to another but every color type has its own specific color spectrum.

No. The style guides are intended as a consultant document, i.e. for those who have necessary background knowledge.This knowledge is necessary in order to work sensibly with the documents. You gain the knowledge from the training for style consultation. In addition to background knowledge, an independent view from the outside is advisable.

Our products are stored with a logistics provider that does not allow third-party access and does not have the resources to handle customer visits. Unfortunately, it is thus not possible for you to collect your goods.

The only exceptions to this rule are the participants in our further education and training programs. By arrangement, we can usually give participants their goods personally, or allow them to inspect them in our training room with no obligation.

Private customers can return any goods anyway within 14 days of receipt of goods in the context of the statutory right of withdrawal. In addition, free samples do not bring any further benefit to private customers.

For commercial customers, the law does not grant a right of withdrawal. Nevertheless, we take back all goods. For the costs of the cancellation, redemption, storage return and refunding, we retain a processing fee of 20% of the value of the goods. In addition, free samples also bring commercial customers no other advantage – apart from the processing fee, which is necessary and fair to cover our costs.

Aren’t fabric color swatches better than printed color swatch fans?2024-02-08T14:26:46+01:00

One fabric is not the same as the other, i.e. there is no real comparability here. Fabric Color Swatches are, as a rule, fitted with taffeta which cannot, for example, be compared to a tweed.
