Now, how do we have to read them correctly?
Maybe it seems a bit complicated. But I hope I succeed.
Value: shown by a circle. At the left end of the scale the circle is empty, that symbolized „light“. At the right end of the scale the circle is filled out, symbolizing „dark“.
The more the scale is filled out to the right end, the darker the color type and the colors of the matching color swatch.
The scale is scarcely filled (is mostly empty), than the color type is light and also the colors of that matching color swatch.
The scale is half filled out, than the color type is medium, neither light nor dark and also the colors of that matching color swatch.
The scale is fully filled out, than the color type is dark and also the colors of that matching color swatch.
Temperature: shown by a thermometer. At the left end of the scale the thermometer is nearly empty, that symbolized low temperature, means „cold“. At the right end of the scale the thermometer is fully black, symbolizing high temperature, means „warm“.
The more the scale is filled out to the right end, the warmer the color type and the colors of the matching color swatch.
